Every website starts with an idea. Here's how Showspeed96 started with ours.
For Showspeed96, the idea started somewhere much simpler: inspiration. There are people who entertain millions, and then there are people who make you want to create something yourself. For us, one of those people was IShowSpeed.
His energy, personality, determination, and completely unpredictable style of entertaining people stood out. He wasn't trying to be another ordinary streamer. He built something that felt different, and that difference inspired us.
At some point, we started thinking:
That question became the beginning of Showspeed96.
Creating a website sounds simple until you actually try to build one. There are designs to think about, graphics to create, layouts to test, colors to choose, buttons to position, pages to organize, and countless small details that most people never notice.
We wanted Showspeed96 to have its own identity. The goal wasn't simply to put a website online — we wanted to create something that felt energetic, recognizable, and connected to the inspiration behind the name, while still becoming its own brand.
That meant going through designs again and again. Some ideas worked. Some didn't. Some designs looked good on paper but didn't feel right once they were placed on the website. So we rebuilt them. Then rebuilt them again.
The name Showspeed96 represents where the idea came from. The inspiration was IShowSpeed and the energy surrounding his community and content. But Showspeed96 is our own project — the website, designs, ideas, and direction are part of our own journey.
Inspiration doesn't mean copying. For us, it means taking something that motivated you and using that motivation to create something of your own.
As the project grew, we became interested in every part of the experience — the graphics, the buttons, the banners, the icons, the casino games, the slots, the live games, the sports section, the overall look and feel. Each part became another opportunity to improve the project.
We started paying attention to details we probably would have ignored before. A few pixels could change how a button looked. A different shade of a color could completely change the atmosphere. A small change in spacing could make an entire page feel cleaner.
That process taught us something important:
There were plenty of moments when things didn't go according to plan. Sometimes a design wasn't sharp enough. Sometimes the dimensions weren't right. Sometimes something looked completely different from what we had imagined. And sometimes we simply weren't happy with it.
But instead of treating those moments as failures, we treated them as part of the process.
That became the mindset behind the project.
IShowSpeed's success didn't come from being ordinary. He built a personality and community that people recognized immediately. That was one of the biggest lessons we took from watching his journey.
You don't necessarily need to follow what everyone else is doing. Sometimes you need to create something that feels like you.
That's what we want Showspeed96 to become. Not a copy. Not a replacement. Not something pretending to be connected to someone else's official brand. A project that started from inspiration and developed into something of its own.
Showspeed96 is still a work in progress. There are more ideas to explore, more designs to create, more pages to improve, and more things we want to build. That's what makes the project exciting.
The website you see today isn't the final destination. It's one part of a much bigger journey.
